How to Improve Your Wordpress SEO in 30 Minutes | Rank INSTANTLY on Google

How to Improve Your WordPress SEO in 30 Minutes | Rank INSTANTLY on Google

How to Improve Your WordPress SEO in 30 Minutes | Look, everyone says that SEO takes a long time. But you don’t have three months, six months, or even a year to get result. There must be a quicker way to get results, faster. And there is. Today, I’m going to teach you how to improve your WordPress SEO in 30 minutes, seriously.

Google Search Console –

Here was my traffic for the term digital marketing, as you can see here.

On a daily basis, you know it climb, get a few hundred, and then boom, all of a sudden, as you can see here, it just started shooting up.

And it stayed pretty up for a while, and then it went down because the code got messed up so I had to redo the code, but once I fixed the HTML error, funny enough, I expected it, but once I fixed the error takes a few days to index and crawl and then boom.

Back at the top, and that’s because it’s a Friday.

If you search digital marketing, you know you’ll search, I’m pretty much number one, you’ll see that there is FAQ schema that I’m using, FAQ page schema.

So someone could be looking up what is digital marketing, it’s there, I give the definition, the future, why it matters, the channels that make up digital marketing, et cetera. That’s FAQ page schema, and you’re probably wondering how to add it to your site.

So I’m going to show you how to do that. Right here in there, on my site, and we’re going to do it for a brand new page. So this is affiliate marketing.

I’m ranking at the top. And people are asking questions like, how do I become affiliate marketer, right? Or what is affiliate marketing? So, I’m going to take my page that is on affiliate marketing, I’m going to scroll all the way to the bottom, it’s kind of a lengthy page.

I’m using a plug-in called Structured Content. So Structured Content, that’s a plug-in that I’m using. And all I’m going to do is add a block, and I’m going to add a FAQ block so that way I can enter any question I have.

So what is affiliate marketing? And let’s see a type in answer. All right, so I added one. And as you can see, I first Googled the term that I want to rank for, and I look for what people are also asking becausethese are the most common, these are the most common questions people ask.

So, for example, how much money can you make as an affiliate marketer? How much money can you make as an affiliate marketer? All right, so I’m going to keep going, I’m going to add two more.

And even when this submits right away, it doesn’t happen instantaneously, but you guys saw from my traffic sets that I showed you from Google Search Console, you may be thinking, hey, if I’m answering the questions right then and there on Google, then why do they need to come to my site?

Well, as you can see, just from that graph alone, it’s getting me more search traffic, right? So you’re better off doing it than not doing it because it should get you more traffic, yes, people can click the drop downs and the search listing, and they don’t necessarily have to go to your site to get all the responses, but it total, from what I tested, you get more traffic.

Now Google does say if you submit a URL multiple times, it doesn’t affect the indexing, like it doesn’t make speed up the process.

Look, FAQ one item detected that’s valid. So that means you can see here, FAQ page, answer, what is affiliate marketing, question, question, question.

That means in due time, it is going to show up, so, yeah, as you can see, look, it’s showing up here. So search for affiliate marketing, boom.

Best WordPress Hosting Services Compared

WordPress is the world’s most popular CMS. It powers more than one-third of all websites across the globe.

So if you’re using WordPress to build your website, you’ve made an excellent choice.

But unlike other website builders and content management systems, WordPress doesn’t offer web hosting out of the box. You’ll need to get that from a third-party web hosting service

With more than 300,000 web hosting providers out there, how can you decide which one is the best for your WordPress site? Fortunately, you’ve come to the right place. As a veteran WordPress user, I’ve narrowed down the top six WordPress hosting services based on my personal experiences and extensive research.

I’ll give you an in-depth review of each WordPress hosting service below, and provide you with the methodology required to choose one for yourself.

Best Overall WordPress Hosting Service

Starting at $3.95 per month. Recommended by WordPress for 15+ years. Managed WordPress hosting options are available.

The Best WordPress Hosting Services to Consider:

  1. Bluehost
  2. WP Engine
  3. DreamHost
  4. SiteGround
  5. Kinsta
  6. Flywheel

When it Makes Sense to Invest Into WordPress Web Hosting

There are actually two different versions of WordPress— and

You can use to get a free subdomain without the need to worry about hosting. But this is not ideal. The site will be “” No legitimate website has a URL structure like this. Growing a business or even a small personal site with a subdomain is near impossible.

So building your site with is the way to go. However, this the self-hosted version of WordPress. You’ll need to install it on your own server using a web hosting service.

Fortunately, this is very easy to do. The best WordPress hosting services come with features like one-click WordPress installations, pre-installed WordPress versions, or even fully managed WordPress hosting services.

You’ll need to invest in a WordPress web hosting plan as soon as you’re ready to build and launch your WordPress website.

If you’re just using to create a free site with a subdomain, a web host won’t be necessary. But I don’t recommend this for businesses or anyone trying to build a legitimate site.

#1 – Bluehost Review — Best Overall WordPress Hosting Service

Best Overall WordPress Hosting Service

Starting at $3.95 per month. Recommended by WordPress for 15+ years. Managed WordPress hosting options are available.

Bluehost powers more than two million websites worldwide. It’s one of the most reliable and popular web hosting services on the market today.

WordPress has been recommending Bluehost for web hosting since 2005. As a WordPress partner, Bluehost can support whatever you need to build a powerful and flexible WordPress site.

Bluehost has specific web hosting plans for WordPress users.

  • Basic — $3.95 per month
  • Plus — $5.95 per month
  • Choice Plus — $6.95 per month

All WordPress hosting plans come with automatic WordPress installation, automatic WordPress updates, a free SSL certificate, and $200 in marketing credits. You’ll also benefit from a free domain for one year.

That’s right. If you haven’t registered your domain yet, you can bundle your web hosting service with a domain registration directly from Bluehost to get a free domain.

Bluehost has exceptional customer support available 24/7. If you need assistance, you can rely on the expert support team for help. Plus, the Bluehost staff knows the ins and outs of WordPress. So troubleshooting won’t be a problem.

For those of you looking for a fully-managed WordPress hosting service, check out WP Pro from Bluehost. These managed WordPress hosting plans start at $19.95 per month.

The only drawback of using Bluehost is that that you’ll need to commit to a long-term contract to get the best possible rate. The promotional rates will increase upon renewal as well, although this is standard practice in the web hosting industry.

#2 – WP Engine Review — The Best For WordPress Experts

WP Engine

WP Engine

Best Hosting For WordPress Experts

Fully managed WordPress hosting plans. Prices starting at $25 per month. Exceptional support and security.

With a name like WP Engine, you’d expect this web hosting provider to specialize in WordPress hosting—and that’s exactly what they do.

WP Engine is trusted by 120,000+ customers in 140 different countries. While it’s not as popular as Bluehost, this web hosting service isn’t geared toward the masses. WP Engine is the best choice for the pros.

If you’re building a high-traffic website, blog, or business, WP Engine is your best bet.

WP Engine offers custom enterprise hosting solutions in addition to managed WordPress hosting for those of you who are just getting started. Here’s an overview of their plans and pricing.

As you can see, these hosting plans can accommodate the needs of high-traffic websites with complex requirements.

While WP Engine does have plans for beginners and new websites, I wouldn’t recommend it to those of you who are just starting out. These prices are significantly higher than other web hosting providers on the market.

In most cases, this is overkill for small websites and new websites starting from scratch. You won’t need a web host like this.

WP Engine’s managed web hosting provides excellent customer support for its clients. Everything is maintained at the server level. So you won’t have to worry about plug-ins slowing down your site or installing updates. All of this is handled by WP Engine behind the scenes.

WP Engine will take care of your site’s security as well. They block more than two million attacks for their customers every day.

#3 – DreamHost Review — Best Cheap WordPress Hosting

Best Cheap WordPress Hosting

Starting at $2.59 per month. Basic hosting, managed hosting, and VPS hosting for WordPress. Instant WordPress setups and award-winning customer support.

DreamHost is another popular web hosting provider. It’s trusted by 1.5+ million sites across the world. Like Bluehost, DreamHost is also recommended by WordPress, which explains why they have 750,000+ WordPress installations.

Overall, DreamHost is a reliable and reputable web hosting provider. They have plans and services to accommodate a wide range of hosting needs, depending on the management level you need and the resources your site requires.

DreamHost offers basic shared WordPress hosting, managed WordPress hosting, and VPS hosting for WordPress as well. All of these plans are affordable.

For $2.59 per month, you won’t find a better deal from a WordPress recommended web host. Even the managed WordPress plans are more than 30% cheaper than WP Engine’s best rate. In fact, the DreamHost VPS for WordPress is more in line with the entry-level hosting plan from WP Engine.

So if you’re looking for the best rate for WordPress hosting, DreamHost will be a top choice to consider.

But price isn’t the only reason why DreamHost ranks so high on our list. You’ll also benefit from a wide range of features and benefits by choosing this web hosting provider.

I’m referring to things like a free SSL certificate, automated backups, instant WordPress setups, automatic WordPress updates, and free email hosting. You’ll also benefit from DreamHosts’s award-winning 24/7/365 customer support.

#4 – SiteGround Review — Best Simple WordPress Hosting Service

Best Simple WordPress Hosting

Starting at $0.33 per month for your first three months. Recommended by WordPress. Free WordPress transfers.

Along with Bluehost and DreamHost, SiteGround is the third web hosting provider recommended by WordPress. It’s trusted by more than two million domains, which makes SiteGround one of the most popular web hosting providers in existence.

SiteGround’s WordPress hosting services are simple, powerful, and affordable.

As a full-service hosting provider, SiteGround manages security and updates for your WordPress site. They promote WooCommerce hosting services as well, which an ideal option for any WordPress user using this plugin to run an ecommerce shop.

For those of you currently using another web hosting provider, you can transfer your website to SiteGround for free.

For a limited time, you can try SiteGround for $0.33 per month for your first three months.

All plans come with a free SSL certificate, email service, daily backups, a staging tool, and a developer toolkit.

SiteGround has the resources to accommodate growing websites. So it’s a great choice for new sites that are scaling quickly.

The only real drawback of SiteGround is its pricing. While they offer low promotional rates, they are notorious for spiking your contract upon renewal. All of this is clearly stated on the website and in your contract. As I said before, this is standard practice in the web hosting industry. But SiteGround’s spike is higher than most.

For example, the promotional rate for the GrowBig plan (which is the best seller) starts at $5.95 per month. That plan renews at $19.95 per month when your initial contract expires.

#5 – Kinsta Review — Best WordPress Hosting For Scalability

Best WordPress Hosting For Scaling Websites

Fully managed WordPress hosting. Resources to accommodate any amount of site traffic. 30-day money-back guarantee.

Kinsta isn’t the most well-known hosting provider on the market today. But it’s an excellent choice for growing WordPress websites. This provider has the resources needed to accommodate traffic spikes.

Kinsta is a fully managed web hosting service. It’s the best alternative to WP Engine for those of you who are comfortable at that price point.

You’ll benefit from daily backups, fast site speeds, free migrations, and top-notch security.

Pricing starts at $30 per month. As your traffic increases, you can easily scale up from there. You’ll never have to worry about outgrowing this web hosting provider.

Kinsta’s support is unmatched. They have 24/7 server monitoring and check your website’s uptime every two minutes. With a 100% solve rate, they’ve never encountered a problem that can’t be fixed.

Kinsta is developer-friendly and provides you with all of the tools you need, including the ability to choose your data center.

For those of you who are expecting spikes in web traffic due to a promotion, sale, or another event, you won’t have to upgrade your plan to access enough server resources. Kinsta has transparent overage prices and won’t scale your site down if you go over your plan limits.

Similar to WP Engine, the drawback of Kinsta is its price point. It’s on the high side, which is unnecessary for most beginners. But they do offer a 30-day money-back guarantee and two months for free with annual contracts.

#6 – Flywheel Review — Best WordPress Hosting for Freelancers and Agencies

Best For Freelancers and Agencies

Easily create and transfer WordPress sites to your clients. Team management tools. Excellent customer support.

Flywheel is another lesser-known web hosting service. They offer hosting plans specifically for freelancers and agencies.

If you or your agency is building websites for other businesses, Flywheel makes it easy for you to create and transfer those sites to your clients.

Flywheel’s plans come with a free SSL certificate, easy SFTP access, free CDN, custom caching, and powerful developer tools. Flywheel’s hosting is optimized for WordPress, and delivers blazing-fast loading speeds while keeping your site safe and secure.

Agencies will benefit from team management tools, like individual login credentials and a real-time activity feed.

For freelancers, you can easily transfer the billing to your clients once the site goes live as well. You can still remain as a collaborator on the website, which gives you full access, minus the cost.

As expected with a premium web hosting service, Flywheel has superior customer support. Their team of WordPress experts can be reached 24/7/365.

The downside of Flywheel is that it’s so niche-specific. Most businesses and websites won’t need a hosting provider that offers these services. But if you build websites for clients, use Flywheel.

Methodology For Choosing The Best WordPress Hosting Service

Most people struggle when choosing a WordPress hosting service because they don’t know what to look for. But there are certain factors that will help you find the best web host for your needs.

This is the methodology that we use and recommend for evaluating a WordPress hosting service. You can weigh these elements against your personal needs.

Management Level

The first thing you need to do is determine if you want a regular hosting service or a fully managed WordPress hosting provider.

Regular WordPress hosting is cheaper, and usually just gives you a simple way to install WordPress. That’s really it.

But managed WordPress hosting services deliver much more. The entire hosting infrastructure is tailored to WordPress. It’s faster and more secure. Plus, the customer support team is more familiar with WordPress and how it works.

Managed WordPress hosting services handle all of the maintenance as well. From backups to automatic updates, you won’t have to worry about a thing.

The extra price for managed WordPress hosting is worth it if you’re looking for the absolute best. But for new or small websites that don’t have complex needs or high volumes of traffic, you can get away with regular hosting.

Site Traffic

When you’re choosing a WordPress hosting service, the amount of traffic your website gets will have a significant impact on the provider and plan that you select.

For example, if you’re starting a new website from scratch and don’t expect to have tons of traffic, you’ll be fine with an entry-level hosting plan from Bluehost.

But if you needed a to accommodate 200k or 400k+ monthly visitors, you’d be better off using WP Engine or Kinsta.

Assuming your site is growing, you should find a WordPress hosting service that can grow with you as your traffic increases.

Performance is always crucial when you’re evaluating web hosting services. Uptime and site speed are the two most important factors.

If your site loads slowly or goes offline, what’s the point of using that provider?

Fortunately, all of the options on our list are reputable and deliver strong performance metrics. You just need to choose the right plan to accommodate your needs and traffic.

Some of you might need special features. For example, Flywheel allows you to easily build and transfer websites to your clients as a freelancer or agency. The performance isn’t affected at all during these scenarios. But not every web hosting provider offers this type of specialty service.

Customer Support

Eventually, you’re going to need to contact your web hosting provider for troubleshooting. This is just an inevitable part of running a website. Make sure that your web host will be there to support you when you need help.

If you’re using a managed WordPress hosting service, lots of support issues will be taken care of automatically. You won’t even need to be contacted.

But if you’re just using a regular WordPress hosting plan, you might need to be a little bit more proactive when it comes to this.

The cost for WordPress hosting varies dramatically depending on the provider and plan that you choose. Entry-level WordPress hosting can be purchased for less than $3 per month. Managed hosting services start around the $25 to $30 range.

For both of these options, the price will obviously increase depending on the resources required to run your website.

While managed WordPress hosting providers are undoubtedly better, not every website will need that extra level of service. If you’re just starting out or you’re price-sensitive, you can save some money by skipping the managed plans.

Best Overall WordPress Hosting Service

Starting at $3.95 per month. Recommended by WordPress for 15+ years. Managed WordPress hosting options are available.

If you’re using WordPress to create and manage your website, you should look into a WordPress hosting service.

Bluehost, DreamHost, and SiteGround are all “officially” on the list of hosting providers recommended by WordPress. But WP Engine and Kinsta are both exceptional choices if you’re looking for managed WordPress hosting.

For agencies and freelancers that build websites for clients, I’d go with Flywheel.

Use this guide to find the best WordPress hosting service for your specific needs. I know you’ll find the perfect option on our list.

In this tutorial video, we’re going to make an online community website. Yes, you’re going to be able to have your own Facebook like website. Let’s take a look at all the features that you’re going to have available to you. First, you’re going to be able to have this beautiful activity feed and all these things I’m going to show you are completely optional.

An activity feed, much like you’re already used to on Facebook where you can post images, videos, text updates, people can comment back. People can post animated jifs. It’s going to be a lot of fun. It’s going to be very engaging for your community members. Next, you can create private groups or public groups where members of similar interests can go and communicate and share.

These groups can be private and completely secured, or they can be public. They also have an activity. Feed a private forum where the members of the group can ask questions and reply back, which brings me to user forums. You can have public or private user forums where your members can ask questions and get answers.

Having a user forum on your website is an incredible thing for search engine optimization to generate traffic on your website. Your members can have rich profiles where they can customize their cover image, their avatar image. Information and you can also enable them to be able to connect with other community members.

You can also enable private communication through the personal message box, which is an option that you have available to enable your members to communicate with each other. And yes, of course there’s notifications. Each of your members will get notifications when people are responding to them, and when there’s new activity in their feeds.

Optionally, if you want a learning component online courses on your website, it will fully integrate with the industry leading learning management system and it has some amazing features. My favorite has to be dark mode. It’s just easier on your eyes and you’ll also optionally be able to have an activity calendar if you want to have events that people can register to, as well as you can optionally have a job board where jobs can be posted.
Just for your community. You can also optionally add an eCommerce store component to your online community website. And just in case you’re wondering, all of this is going to look amazing on all devices, mobile phones and tablets.

So that’s what we’re going to cover in this video. I hope you stick around and give this video a thumbs up.

All of my opinions in this video are my own, I was not paid to make this video. How to Create an Emergency Message UI in WordPress

How to Create an Emergency Message UI in WordPress

Emergency situations can affect any organization. Whether it’s a weather-related closing, a sudden change in business hours or a leaky pipe in the basement – things happen. And one of the best ways to communicate these types of issues is by posting it on your website.

This information is vital and needs to stand out from the rest of the site’s content. In addition, it should require as little effort as possible to add. This is especially the case if your client is the one updating the website. Ideally, they shouldn’t be making design decisions while trying to share an important message. Plus, time is of the essence.

Today, we’ll introduce you a handy solution that uses WordPress custom fields. It will enable you to:

  • Create a custom emergency message;
  • Select a Font Awesome icon to display alongside of it;
  • Turn the message on or off with a single click;
  • Add an attention-getting design to your WordPress theme;

Ready to start? Let’s get to it!

Unlimited Downloads: 500+ Premium WordPress Plugins

1,000,000+ WordPress Plugins & Themes, WooCommerce Addons & Themes, Design Assets, and much more!

What You’ll Need

This one is fairly simple to put together. However, you will need a few ingredients:

The two free plugins will need to be installed and activated. Beyond that, you’ll also need access to your WordPress theme.

If you’re using one of the default themes that come with WordPress or a commercial theme, be sure to set up a child theme. This will prevent any changes you make from being overwritten by an update later on.

Adding and Configuring Custom Fields

The first task is creating a custom field group within WordPress. To start, head on over to Custom Fields > Add New within the WordPress Dashboard.

You can create any fields you’d like to use. Here’s what our example looks like:

Emergency Notice Custom Field Group.

Alternatively, you can replicate this example exactly by grabbing the following JSON file:

Once you’ve downloaded the file, head on over to Custom Fields > Tools. You can then import the custom field group to your website.

Import Field Groups Screen.

After the import, go to Custom Fields > Field Groups. Click on the “Emergency Notices” entry to open up the edit screen.

Note that you may want to tweak a few settings here. Particularly focus on the Location rules for the field group. Make sure the fields are set to show up on the page or pages you want. In our case, we’re displaying the fields on the “Home” page.

Custom Field Location Rules

Creating the Emergency Message

Now it’s time to navigate over to the “Home” page, where the emergency message fields are assigned.

How the fields look within the content editor will vary. If you’re using the Gutenberg block editor, the field set will be tucked away at the bottom of the editor – and below any existing content.

If you are using the Classic Editor, the fields in the JSON file we provided are set to appear just below the page title and above any existing content.

Either way, adding the message to our page is fairly simple. For the “Show the Emergency Notice” field, click on “Yes”. Then, select an icon (view a list of available Font Awesome icons). From there, enter your message in the WYSIWYG field.

Emergency Notice Fields in the WordPress Content Editor.

Save the page and you’re done! Well, almost…

Adding and Styling Your Message on the Front End

Finally, let’s place our emergency message within our WordPress theme and add some CSS styling.

In this example, we’re going to place the message above the site’s header. Here, it will span the width of the screen and display at the very top of the page. Of course, you can feel free to add this snippet to whichever area you think is best.

As for styling, you have a lot of flexibility. Here, we’ll utilize a red background with large, white text. Our Font Awesome icon will stand out with a yellow color.

The final result will be hard to miss!

Emergency Message on the Front End of the Website.

Keep Visitors Informed

An organization’s website is one of the first places people check for vital information. While it’s also important to post these types of messages on social media, it can easily get lost in a crowd of content.

This solution offers a simple way to add an emergency message anytime. When no longer needed, it can be removed with just a few clicks.

There are also ways to enhance the feature by adding other relevant custom fields. ACF has plenty of built-in options, and there are a number of add-on plugins that can do even more.

Just about every website can benefit from this type of feature. Set it up now so that you won’t have to scramble to do so later.

We believe in being up front and honest: We do receive a commission if you sign up for WP Engine using our link. We truly believe they are the best option for creating a successful WordPress website. Thanks so much for supporting our channel!

We recommend WP Engine for your WordPress website in 2020 because your plan includes amazing free themes, the best customer support in the business, free SSL, and much more.

Cheap website builders like Wix and Weebly will let you start for free, but they won’t help you accomplish your 2020 goals. They’ll make you pay for things that are absolutely essential for success, like adding a custom domain name, SEO, analytics, and professional support.

As we said, 94% of new websites get zero traffic because they don’t take 1 minute to answer a few key questions and create a simple plan before they get started.

1. What is the #1 goal I want to accomplish with my website? (In other words, how do I make money?)
2. What does a visitor need to do for me to achieve that goal?
3. What does a visitor need to know or see beforehand?

These questions can be a guiding light for you as you create the look and feel of your website.

Top Custom Gutenberg Blocks You Can Add to WordPress

Top Custom Gutenberg Blocks You Can Add to WordPress

One of the most promising aspects of the Gutenberg block editor is the ability to add your own custom blocks. They can consist of just about any type of formatted content or functionality you can imagine.

And while you can certainly build your own custom blocks, sometimes that’s a bit like reinventing the wheel. This is especially the case when you want to add a common element such as a testimonial, post listing or timeline. Most likely, these blocks already exist and can be easily added to your website.

Since Gutenberg’s inclusion in WordPress core, the developer community has released a number of different block plugins. Most tend to include a collection of blocks that could come in handy while building your site.

Today, we’ll introduce you to some of the top custom block collections available for WordPress. Let’s get started!

Ultimate Addons for Gutenberg includes 20+ custom blocks that cover a wide range of use cases. When it comes to layout, the Advanced Columns block lets you create a highly-customized multicolumn row. There are also blocks for adding Google Maps, icons, CTAs, post carousels and more. That’s just scratching the surface of what this free plugin can do.

Backed by GoDaddy, CoBlocks is a free WordPress plugin that supercharges Gutenberg. While it offers a number of handy custom blocks (accordion, alert, hero, logos, masonry gallery, pricing table, etc.), its big selling point is in page layout. Offering a more page builder-like experience, rows and columns can be dragged to size and customized for responsive layouts. Typography is also highly-tweakable as well.

EditorsKit is a bit different than the other plugins in this collection, as it’s more about extending the blocks already included in Gutenberg. The rich text formatting features allow you to further style your content, or wipe out all custom styles with a single click. You can also control the visibility of blocks based on device, login state or even custom field values. In addition, there are a ton of productivity tweaks, like support for markdown, code editor syntax highlighting and the ability to import or export specific blocks. With so many goodies, it may just make Gutenberg feel like a completely different experience.

Kadence Blocks offers a dozen custom blocks that cover common needs. Included are row layouts, advanced galleries, tabs, info boxes and testimonials – among others. It also aims to solve one of the more frustrating issues with Gutenberg – the width of the editor on the back end. The plugin contains preset widths that enable content creators to get a better representation of what pages will look like on the front end.

Use Atomic Blocks to quickly build highly-customized WordPress posts and pages. Among the highlights are the Section & Layout block, which includes a selection of readymade content layouts. Simply add a layout and customize the content. There’s also a Newsletter block, which allows visitors to sign up for your MailChimp list. The Share Icons block can help your content go viral. But that’s only a taste of the 20+ elements included.

With an aim to both speed up content creation and add different content types, Gutenberg Blocks and Template Library is a compelling option. Much like Atomic Blocks above, the included Section block offers a number of pre-designed templates and layouts. There are also a number of customizable elements such as Google Maps, post grids, author info and a block for Font Awesome icons.

Sure, Advanced Gutenberg comes packed with a number of custom blocks (post sliders, WooCommerce products, advanced tables, advanced lists, etc.). Those are all nice and handy. But the really interesting feature here is the ability to create “edition” profiles, which allow you to turn blocks on or off for specific users or user roles. For example, if you only want administrators to have access to the Column Manager block, you can easily set it up. This helps to ensure that lower level users don’t wreak havoc on your designs.

Furthering your ability to tweak Gutenberg, Advanced Gutenberg Blocks lets you disable any native blocks you don’t need. You can also customize the editor’s width, create default color palettes and font sizes. And yes, there are a number of new custom blocks available, such as notices, WooCommerce products, banner ads and click-to-tweet.

Get Some New Building Blocks

The default blocks that come with Gutenberg are useful and are constantly being refined. But to create a true page building experience, you’ll want to add some custom elements.

That’s where the plugins above can help take your website to greater heights. Not only can you add different types of functionality and content, but you can also take greater charge of the editor as a whole.

The bottom line is that, if you’re going to use Gutenberg for complex page layouts, you might as well go all in. These plugins will help you do just that.
